Picket Post Swim Club offers many Competitive, Instructional and Social Opportunities to play tennis. Our tennis program is a thriving community with many team, league, instruction and social opportunities to play for players of all abilities. Our staff is highly skilled and friendly and fosters a positive environment.  All are welcome to perfect their skills, learn a new sport and most importantly, make new friends!  We have two Har-Tru Courts, two Hard Courts, four pickleball courts and a Gazebo for social gatherings.

Women’s Tennis TEAMS

Picket Post has teams of all levels of play.  We have three (3) teams participating in the Women’s Inter-club Tennis Association of Philadelphia, which plays for seven weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning in late April.

We also have several USTA teams:

Spring: 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 (weekday mornings); and a mixed doubles team that plays on Sunday mornings.

Summer: 65+ and a 75+ (3.5) teams

Men’s Tennis TEAMS

Picket Post fields two (2) men’s tennis teams, an “A” team and a “B” team that play on Thursday evenings. Matches begin in mid-April. There is also a mixed doubles team that plays on Sunday mornings.

SOCIAL PLAY

There are many opportunities to play socially at Picket Post. Round robins as well as mixed doubles play are organized from Spring through early Fall. There are also fun mixed socials hosted Spring through Fall and all members are welcome!  2022 Social Schedule will be out soon!
