GROUP SWIM LESSONS
For Children Ages 3-12 of all skill levels

Group swim lessons will be offered to member children. You must be sign-up below, in advance, to participate. No drop-ins permitted. 
The children will be divided into age-appropriate and ability-specific groups to ensure every child gets the attention and instruction they need to thrive in the water. If you think your child does not fit into any of these groups, please consider starting with 1-2 private lessons to determine a good fit for group lessons.

• Preschoolers (3-5 years) Tadpoles. Children must be at least 3 years old and potty trained. The focus of these lessons is for children to become more water safe and feel comfortable in the water. Sessions take place in the shallow section of the pool with guardians encouraged to be poolside.
• Young Swimmers (5-7 years) Goldfish. These children are comfortable in the water and have had some instruction. In addition to stroke development, primary focus will be on basic crawl and breathing skills, as well as reinforcing the basic skills of jumping and coming out of the water safely. More advanced children may focus on treading water, and deep end swimming.
• Intermediate Swimmers (8-12 years) Sea Sharks. Primary focus will be on continued refinement of multiple strokes and breathing techniques.

Dates, Details and Cost

• Class Size: Maximum of 5 children per instructor to ensure personalized attention. Minimum of 2 participants or class will be cancelled.
• Class Duration: 30 minutes for preschoolers; 45 minutes for older groups.
• Class Cost: All group lessons will be $20/per class, per child.
• Class Dates: Starting June 24^rd through July 26^th (no classes July 3-July 6^th)
• Make-ups (due to weather-related cancellations) will be offered once regular sessions end.

Schedule

• Tadpole (Ages 3-5) classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:00 PM; Saturdays 9 AM
• Goldfish (Ages 5-7) classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM; Saturdays 9:45 AM
• Seashark (Ages 8-12) classes: Fridays at 3:00 PM; Saturdays 10:45 AM

Safety Protocols

• Certified lifeguards are present at all sessions.
• All instructors are trained in first aid and CPR.
• Strict adherence to child-to-instructor ratios.

What to Bring:

• Wear a swimsuit
• Towel
• Swim cap/Goggles (optional)

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

We also offer private swimming lessons for all ages. Reservations can be made directly with our certified lifeguards. A list of lifeguards available for lessons will be provided in the guard hut, or you may contact our Assistant Pool Manager, lauren Verrelli, verrellilauren@gmail.com to schedule a session.

The rates are as follows:

• $30 for a single child for 30 minutes
• $40 for two children (maximum) for 30 minutes
