Paddle at Picket Post

As the sport of platform tennis nears 100 years of existence and perpetually grows in popularity – Picket Post is proud to be home of one of Pennsylvania’s most robust, inclusive and affordable paddle communities that has become equally synonymous with on-court achievement and social affability. Members enjoy social events, clinics, league play and tournaments for all skill levels

 Features:

  • 4 paddle courts with lights and a spacious, newly remodeled Paddle Hut with a view of the courts
  • Heated Paddle Hut is fully equipped with Wifi, TV and lounging area
  • Five (5) men’s and five (5) women’s MAPTA inter-club teams
  • Weekly round robins for men and women players of all levels
  • Tournaments and social functions throughout the season
  • A PPTA certified and experienced teaching pro
  • No court fees
  • Online / App reservation system

 

Weekly Round Robins
Womens: Tuesdays 7:00-8:30pm (2 courts) and Saturdays 10:30am-12:00pm (3 courts)
Mens: Mondays 7:00-8:30pm (2 courts) and Saturdays 9:00-10:30am (3 courts)

No fee for these events. Etiquette for the RRs is rotational play at a duration dictated by the number of members attending. If the volume is high, players should compete in a session of 8 total games, no ad scoring (2 service games for each player) with new a group rotating in immediately after. Sharing (court space) is caring!

Picket Post has teams of all levels competing in the MAPTA League:
Womens – Cups 1, 2, 4, 5, 7
Mens – Div. 1, 4, 5, 8, 18
WWL  and Women’s Spring League
