🌸 Picket Post Club Newsletter – Spring 2026 🌸   Dear Members, Spring is here, and that means we’re officially on the countdown to summer! The pool opens in just six weeks on May 23! We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes getting everything ready for another fantastic season.   🏊‍♀️ Pool Updates & Opening Prep There’s a lot happening as we gear up for opening day! Most notably, we’re installing a brand-new pool deck with improved drainage around the pool. This upgrade will not only enhance the look of our space but also make for a safer, more comfortable experience for everyone.   👋 Welcome Our New Pool Manager! We’re thrilled to introduce Carly Berkowitz as our new Pool Manager! Carly is a local middle school teacher with several years of aquatics management experience. Her enthusiasm and energy are infectious! She’s excited to meet our amazing team of lifeguards, many of whom are returning this year, as well as all of our pool members. Be sure to say hello when you see her on deck this summer!   🏊‍♂️ Swim Team News (Go Piranhas!) Swim team registration will be opening next week (around April 15). Get ready! We’re excited to share that spirit wear will now be available for purchase during registration this year for both swimmers and families. Stay tuned for more details! Even better, Corey Besz and his hand-picked coaching team will be back to lead the Piranhas for another great season. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the water!   🏡 Clubhouse & Grounds Updates It’s been an eventful offseason! We successfully recovered from a burst pipe in the clubhouse earlier this winter, completing a full cleanup and refresh. While we also dealt with some unexpected vandalism, we’re happy to report that everything will be looking great and ready for members by opening day.     📋 Member Survey Coming Soon Keep an eye on your inbox: a member survey will be coming your way in the next few weeks. Your feedback is incredibly important as we continue to shape the future of our club and focus on what matters most to you.   🏓 Paddle News We’re seeing a surge of interest in paddle from our pool members, which is exciting and should lead to lots of activity on the courts this spring! Let us know if you want to join in on the fun! A couple of important reminders: No court lights after April 30 due to township regulations. Please help keep our space clean and safe by disposing of trash in the dumpster and ensuring all doors are securely closed.   We’re so grateful to have such a wonderful community and can’t wait to kick off the 2026 season together.
